Tell Your Sponsorship Story
Why you should, and how to have it told here.
A story that demonstrates and contextualizes your abilities is better than any resume can ever capture. Being interviewed about your achievements as a sponsorship practitioner is a great way to not only promote yourself, but also shows you care about lifting up the industry for everyone. My deep understanding of sponsorship marketing and the number of people I talk with in the industry allows me to suss out the stuff your peers are most interested to know, so your story is as compelling as it can be.

Participation Requirements
Ideally, you have been involved in a deal you believe is compelling, and can get the counterparty in the partnership to give their perspective on it. If you can’t track down the other party to participate in a deal story, or otherwise have a great non-specific deal story to tell, you will certainly be considered for publishing here. I will just always give priority to stories that present a sponsor and a rights holder speaking about the same deal, because that presents a unique opportunity to get both the sponsor and rights holder perspective.

Talks with you about your deal or other story
Drafts and sends a Google Doc with questions for you, and if secured to participate in a deal story, your counterpart in it
Arranges any follow-ups needed to clarify story before publishing
Writes and publishes your story on the Sponsorship Stories Substack!
